Department Of Science

Shri Shankaracharya Mahavidyalaya ,Bhilai Pioneered science education at the Pt.Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur when it stared its science courses. Over a span of years, faculty of science has produce a large number of dedicated students, teachers and those who excelled in other areas . the various courses which are running under are undergraduate programmes in Electronics, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry B.Sc. (Biology) and B.Sc. (PCM).

Department of Botany

The Department of Botany occupies the first floor of the college building. It has a spacious Laboratory equipped with all the necessary instruments and a computer for the departmental work.

Department Of Zoology

The Department of Zoology is situated in the Second Floor of the College Building. It also has a spacious Laboratory equipped with all the necessary instruments and a computer for the departmental work.

Department of Micro-Biology

The Department of Micro-Biology was started in the year 2005 ,it also has a spacious Laboratory and a separate Culture Room. It is equipped with all the necessary instruments and a computer for the departmental work.

Department Of Bio-Technology

The Department of Bio-Technology is situated in the First Floor of the College Building. It also has a spacious Laboratory and a separate incubation and inoculation Room equipped with all the Precious instruments and a computer for the departmental work.

Department Of Bio-Chemistry

The Department of Bio-Chemistry is situated in the First Floor of the College Building. It also has a spacious Laboratory and Well equipped with all the necessary instruments and a computer for the departmental work.
